Maplewood Backpackers is set in the quaint seaside town of Ilfracombe a victorian  town built arround an ancient fishing village harbour. Mark and Lisa offer a warm welcome in our North Devon Hostel providing Budget accommodation but still retaining hotel quality. Maplewood offers a 'fawlty towers' approach so you can feel relaxed. We are one of two Ilfracombe Hostels and rank high in independant reviews, Maplewood Backpackers  North devon have rooms and prices to suit all budgets. Despite a slight price increase from last year, from  £10 for a dorm bed, or £34 for a double, this is still a cheap room and although we are budget accomodation we can be compared to hotels and guest houses alike for quality.

If you have never stayed in a North Devon Hostel, you may be supprised Not like the stereotype Youth Hostel Maplewood  Backpackers is more like a hotel with a self catering kitchen, we have a comunal lounge and private rooms some en-suite, set in grade 2 listed victorian spleandor.
